CARE INFORMATION- I make my pieces with care, attention to detail and all are made to last. But as all things do, they will have a breaking point. these simple guidelines should help keep your adornments giving back to you for a very long time.
Please do not spray perfume or cleaning chemicals onto your pieces.
Be mindful that if crystal and stone pieces are dropped or come in hard contact with surfaces they may shatter or chip.
Leather does not like getting wet. Please do not wear leather pieces swimming, in the shower, bath, hot- tub, heated spring, dam, ocean, waterfall....yeah you get the idea. However accidents happen, so in the event of a random tsunami or super-soaker attack, wipe over with a soft cloth and lay flat to dry, out of direct sunlight.
Chlorine, bleach, oils and sweat are the main offenders. Gently buff the piece with a soft cloth, preferably a jewelry cloth, being careful of precious stones or elements that are NOT brass or silver.
Unfortunately and inevitably not matter how hard you try to keep brass and silver clean and dry, it will tarnish over time. You can worry and stress about this or let the patina and "lived in" look tell a marvelous story. If you do wish to brighten them up to a beautiful golden shine there are a number of ways you can do this, believe it or not toothpaste and a soft toothbrush or clean cloth work a treat; if its whitening or charcoal toothpaste, even better. Please just be careful to avoid any crystal, stone or other natural components in the jewellery. Make sure to rinse well and wipe gently with a soft cloth. If you wish to keep the patina coloring in your jewelry, just wash your jewelry with soap and water. Store your jewelry in a sealed plastic bag when you're not wearing it so that it doesn't tarnish while it's not on your body.
Also of note, please be aware some people have an allergy to brass. These metals can also leave a greenish tint on the skin, this is not permanent; will fade and wash off. And lets not forget general common sense, please don't use the talisman for any nefarious purposes.
